Today NCJIMCARE & OPJICACRE is a frontrunner Charitable Hospital having over 75 Doctors, 11 Operation Theaters, Radiotherapy department, 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128 Slice CT Scan, state of art Intensive care unit and many other facilities like Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Linear Accelerator & Lasik Laser.
With a firm belief on the philosophy that “without the up-liftment of weak and backward sections of the society, a nation can never prosper”. Adhering to this philosophy Jindal family laid the foundation for setting up of the “NC Jindal Eye Hospital”, in Hisar in 1966 . The hospital was set up in the memory of Late Shri. Netram Jindal and Late Smt. Chandrwali Jindal by their five sons.
To ensure their dream to be fulfilled, the leadership was taken up by Late Shri O.P Jindal. He was a leader having great concern for common people, a passionate philanthropist and man of the soil. His vision and dedication towards the up-liftment of the poor and service to the community made him a father figure for millions.
On May 5, 1968, the hospital was inaugurated by Shri Morarji Desai, The Deputy Prime Minister of India .Thus the journey of providing quality medical care at affordable cost begun.
With passage of time Late Shri O.P Jindal’s philanthropic activities grew. The vision, mission and values of the hospital has not eroded and people continue to get quality health care at affordable cost. Late Shri O.P Jindal handed over the legacy of the hospital to his daughter in law, Smt. Deepika Jindal.
Smt. Deepika Jindal humbly took over as the Chairperson of the NCJIMCARE & OPJICACRE in 1996 and since then she along with all the four son’s of Shri. O.P Jindal have been making tremendous efforts in managing, developing and in keeping the hospital at par with the latest facilities and equipments.
After the untimely demise of Late Shri O.P Jindal in 2005, the Jindal family have put faith in Smt. Deepika Jindal to fulfil their dream of founding patrons. In 2008 the first step in this direction was taken when they added a Cancer Wing (O.P. Jindal Institute of Cancer Research) in memory of Late Shri O.P Jindal.
The next milestone was achieved with the inauguration of “O.P. Jindal Institute of Cardiac Care” on August 7, 2013. This wing is designed to provide Invasive, non Invasive cardiac procedures and advanced cardiac surgeries along with other sub specialties like Gastroenterology, Neurology and Nephrology.
This centre is well equipped to handle ANGIOGRAPHY, ANGIOPLASTY, OPEN HEART SURGERY, PACEMAKER IMPLANTATION, BMV etc. The ultra modern cardiac centre will serve as a boon to the people of Hisar and neighbouring districts, as they no longer will have to run to cities for cardiac treatment.
In order to provide excellence in medical education, serve the community efficiently and to attract good talent, “Savitri Jindal Institute of Nursing” has been set up. In order to accommodate students from far and near, a Nursing Hostel has been setup.
